I enjoy working with wood and making rustic decorations. I love farmhouse themes! Honestly, I experiment and either hate the decorations or love them! I’ll only show the projects I’m proud of!

The crate projects led me to another story!
Prior to February 2021, my wife’s common complaint was lack of lighting in our family room. As you can see, I added three wall lights that I noticed had three electrical outlets on the same circuit controlled by one switch! Wonderful and convenient! I thought she would be pleased! She then pointed out that the wires were ugly (I couldn’t help think, I love this women 🥰🤪 she brings out my creative side. But…. I did agree with her)! Instead of paying an electrician to come in and install, costing more time, work and money, I decided to experiment again. I hopped online to look for cord concealers. I didn’t appreciate anything I could find. Stopping at our hometown AceHardware, I found 3 corner trim pieces. I stained them with Minwax Gel Stain, coffee color. Next, I cut them to length. I secured the wires with gorilla double sided tape to the back fold of the trim. Last, I secured the bottom in place. I couldn’t help but be proud of my “hide the wires” experiment! She loved the end result!
