Being a parent can be challenging especially having me for a son. Like that time I set the back yard dumpster on fire. Or the time I peed in my closet. Or the time I was in trouble with the cops. It had to be tough. I’m sorry you had to deal with it. I’m not sorry it happened because it helped shape who I am. Thanks for being there.
Thanks for your support and having my back during those hard times.
Thanks for buying me a baseball and glove.
Thanks for spending countless hours playing catch and chasing bad throws.
Thanks for paying and sacrificing your weekends to go to tournaments.
Thanks for the discipline I needed.
Thanks for listening to me cry when I needed to.
Thanks for letting me think I knew it all only to learn the hard way.
Thanks for letting me be a kid.
Thanks for my first car, Chrysler LeBaron.
Thanks for working and supporting your family
But most of all, thanks for being my Dad.
