Bathroom Additions.

Chalk Paint! There is definitely a pattern! Like I said previously, chalk paint looks wonderful and is easy to use because of not needing prep work! I used two colors of Rustoleum Chalk Paint. Chiffon Cream and Cocoa Bean. The hardest part was taking off the hardware! After that, the painting was smooth. Two coats and done! Finished with Rustoleum Matte Protective coat.

Also to note, I replaced our outdated and discolored faucets with Moen faucets. I favor oiled rubbed bronze!

Recently, in our bathroom, I noticed we had some ugly marks on the outside of our mirror. I’m sure many people didn’t notice. I did and my first thought, I must take care of it! I had some extra baseboard from when I replaced the trim in our hallway. I made a frame for the mirror to hide the ugly spots! I used Minwax Gel Stain, coffee color to match the trim color. The result….

Before I forget, I added the 2×4 shelf to add some added rustic design to the bathroom. I made a DIY sign to remind my son to wash, brush and comb! Works most of the time 😆 I was impressed I still remembered how to use cursive!

In our bedroom bathroom, we do not have a lot of room for storage. I had a neat idea to add a towel holder. I strategically placed it so the towels could be easily accessed from the shower. I don’t think it looks too bad!

All you need are two matching curtain hangers! These two were from Target!
